Congrats goes out to Mens Div 1 team The Hurricanes for Winning this years Power 97 3 on 3 Sponge Hockey Tounament.

They played a team of SLOW all stars in the Finals and came out on top 5-3.

Congrats to all the teams from the Spongee League of Winnipeg as you all did very well!

We would like to welcome Morse Place Community Center as one of our new homes for the SPONGEE LEAGUE OF WINNIPEG...with increasing emails and phone calls from teams about joining our league for next season daily, we felt adding another venue to our already successful season would help us handle the increase in teams for next year! We will schedule some games there for playoffs this season which are set to get underway the Second week of Feb!
