Coed Teams please be aware that we will be placing all teams in one division for the regular season...We will then break down into three divisions for playoffs

Palomino Club Div 1 1vs4 2vs3 Winners of the series will play each other
Teams Transport Div 2 5vs8 6vs7 Winners of the series will play each other
Jeffery's Lounge Div 3 9vs12 10vs11 Winners of the series will play each other

Mens Divisions will be broken into A and B side for playoffs.

Please be aware that teams are only permitted to Change on the FLY and not on a stoppage of play, unless a goal is scored or a penalty is called.

Please be aware that parking for the rinks can be done on Martin ave West, Chalmers or on Henderson Hwy...for the first week.
Also Dressing rooms 1,3,4 will be used for teams with Dressing Room #2 being used as the league office. There should always be one league rep at the building at all times either in the office or on the ice reffing.

In case of weather issues please look at our website as it will be updated with info.

The Exhibition Schedule is up now....Please review and confirm your game times.
After your first 2 games please remember that your team could be moved divisions.

Also a few things to know....Each player is required to get a league Photo ID. They Must be taken before your 4th regular season game. Anyone stepping on the ice after their teams 4th regular season game will be considered illegal. You can use sub players anytime before your 12th game as long as they have taken their league photo. Cost for the cards are 5 dollars see Ryan or Jamie in the Clubhouse before one of your games.

Penalty info update-

Teams please be aware of the following rules as these may be different from what you have played in the past:

Stick Penalty Rule: Any stick penalty (high sticking when injury occurs,cross checking,spearing,butt-ending,slashing) will be a 4 minute double minor penalty. If a player gets two double minor penalties in one game this will gain a automatic game ejection based on the 8 mins of penalties rule.

Eight Minutes in penalties rule- A combination of any penalties adding up to 8 mins will constitute an automatic game ejection from that game. EXAMPLE: player receives Two Minutes for Tripping, 2 Mins for hooking and 4 Mins for Slashing , result= Game Ejection

Any goalie getting 8 mins in penalties in one game will not be automatically ejected but will be suspended from the teams next scheduled night of play.

Any player getting a total of 50 mins in penalties (regular season only)
Automatic 2 game suspension
Every 10 mins after the 50mins will be a 1 game suspension per 10 mins.

All league fees are due no later then December 31st 2010...Please make all cheques to Spongee League Of Winnipeg, any cheques bounced will be an automatic 40 dollar fine which must be paid before your teams next game.

The regular season schedule will be completed after the exhibition games.
